EAACI 2016 has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME), an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS) in cooperation with the European Board of Accreditation in Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EBAACI) to provide the following CME activity for medical specialists. The Congress has been designated for 27 hours of European external CME credits (ECMECs).
Your badge will be scanned at the entrance of each session for CME accreditation. After the Congress, you will receive a link and detailed information to download your Certificate of CME.
The local currency is the Euro (EUR).
The dress code will be informal throughout the Congress.
EAACI gives its members priority status at EAACI Congresses, Focused Meetings and all other EAACI events and activities. Members receive a discount of 25% on the registration fee. Junior members are entitled to register for the Congress for an even lower fee. These journals contain editorials, reviews, original articles, educational series and EAACI Position Papers. From the South take the motorway Südautobahn A2 – Südosttangente A23 direction Praha/Brno – exit at Handelskai/Messezentrum. From the West take the motorway Westautobahn A1 – at the Steinhäusl junction take Außenringautobahn A21 – then, at the Vösendorf / Südosttangente junction take the A23 direction Praha/Brno – exit at Handelskai/Messezentrum and from the North follow the motorway Donauuferautobahn A22 – exit at Reichsbrücke direction Zentrum – after the bridge, turn left at the first traffic light into Vorgartenstraße and drive to the junction to Ausstellungsstraße.
By Airport Train – CAT
The CAT takes just 16 minutes nonstop to get to central Vienna from the airport and vice versa. The City Airport Train operates daily from 05.36 to 23.36. The City Air Terminal is just 10 minutes from St. Stephan’s Cathedral at Wien Mitte station, which can be reached easily by tram, underground, bus or taxi. Vienna Airport Lines (Postbus) connects Vienna Airport with the main Vienna transport hubs. The 3 Vienna Airport Lines serve all of Vienna’s underground railway lines and also Wien West and Wien Meidling railway stations. Buses to the city centre (Morzinplatz/Schwedenplatz) run 24 hours a day; journey time is 20 minutes. See the airport map to locate the departure points at the airport.
Taxi stands are located outside the arrival terminals. It takes around 20 minutes to the city centre.
Public Transport within Vienna to Messe Wien Exhibition & Congress Center
You can reach Messe Wien Exhibition & Congress Center using metro line U2 from Karlsplatz direction Seestadt, exit at the station Messe/Prater; bus lines 11A from Heiligenstadt and line 80b from Kaiserebersdorf direction Seestadt, stop Messe/Prater; tramway line D direction Südbahnhof to Schottentor and tramway line 5 direction Praterstern to Praterstern, change there to U2 metro line. The station Messe/Prater is just a short walk from Reed Messe.
